    Description

    US WW2 Medical Department Table & Desk
    Two items here -- a folding table and a wooden desk.
    These are internal parts of the MD-4 Medical Dept Administrative Trunk/Chest
    1) FOLDING TABLE
    A folding "card" table.  Neat suitcase style designed to hold four canvas & wire stools (stools not present).
    Carrying handle. Two flip latches.
    Marked MD 4 on top
    Legs fold out and lock into place.  Note the wrapped wire repair of one of the leg bases.
    2) DESK
    Wooden "desk top" on the loose.
    This flat section was designed to hook onto a storage/file cabinet (not present)
    Flat section of wood. OD painted. MD 4 marked.
    Two hooks on one side to attach to the cabinet and notice the folding wire leg assembly has only one locking hinge per its design.
    Nice piece to flesh out an administrative medical display.
    Also note that I have a nice US WW2 MD-4 97575 chest made by Detecto Scales that will hold these above pieces (see the last photo). It's NOT included as part of this auction but is available -- it weighs about 45 pounds.
