    Description

    Up for auction is a WW2 U S Navy Boat Box First Aid Kit Stock # 2-185 with partial contents.  Also included is a photo copy of the contents list I had for anyone who is looking to find out what it originally carried.  These were intended as a master first aid kit for small Navy boats and ships.   Made of wood with a sliding lid held by a brass screw.  All the contents look correct except for a number of pieces of roller gauze which are in commercial packaging.   All the contents look in great shape except for the box of iodine which is missing 2 of the three vials and is stained.  Wooden box shows wear from handling and the lid has a split starting but its intact and solid.  Thanks for looking.
