Vintage Original 1955 Douglas Aircraft Poster: "Douglas Though The Years" RARE!

Description

This is an incredibly rare and unbelievably beautiful original vintage poster from the Douglas Aircraft Company. Titled, "Douglas Though The Years" the poster celebrates the company's 35th anniversary (1920–1955) with a timeline illustrating the evolution of their airplanes over the period. Every plane manufactured by Douglas Aircraft Company through that period is beautifully illustrated – both commercial and military aircraft. Even experimental aircraft is included.
This is not a reproduction, it is an original poster!
The colors are deep and rich - the background is a very beautiful deep slate blue, and there is a nice light grey border. At the bottom left is a large and colorful Douglas Aircraft logo depicting the globe with 3 airplanes.
This is a must-have item for the most discerning aviation enthusiast or Douglas collector.
Printed on very heavy paper.
Signed Jack H. Davis in the bottom left corner.
Size is large: 36" x 22"
The poster is in very good vintage condition - there are creases from folding, but no tears or thumbtack holes.  Comes from a smoke-free home.
