    Rare M1 Carbine USGI WWII
    trigger housing

    In original parkerized finish.  This will fit any USGI M1 Carbine.
    Saginaw Steering Gear inherited machine tools when they took over production at the Irwin Pedersen Grand Rapids facility.
    Many trigger housings manufactured by Saginaw Gear at the Grand Rapids facility had holes just above the rear of the trigger guard to fit the Irwin Pedersen positioning fixtures.  This trigger housing was later modified to the Type VI  6.
