    Approx 32" x 18 x 16"
    Wood construction with metal reinforcements
    Hasp center closure (lockable with external lock - not present)
    Large closing hasp assemblies X 2 -- all intact and in nice working order.
    End handles on both sides
    Three rear stop hinges -- lid opens and then stays propped open by the action of the hinges themselves
    Side mounted receivers for the stretcher supports (not included)
    Original paint and markings --  Item # 97575 indicating pre-March 44 production/issuance
    Fully loaded weight was 130 lbs. Cubic Ft 5
    Second type caduceus decals on the ends --  most having flaked away but still discernible for what they are.
    Crimson "MD" and white "4"
    Made by "Detecto Scales" and so rubber stamped.
    Empty now but would have held cabinet, table + 4 chairs, desk with foot, typewriter & other clerk/ records personnel gear
    Note: I have the folding table and desktop in another auction
    It's fairly heavy at 45 lbs. I anticipate wrapping with heavy duty shipping saran wrap, cardstock & padding. So in other words I will send it protected but not necessarily boxed.
