U.S. Mounted Cavalry Canteen, Cover & Leather Hangar Strap All Original. Fewsh from a local estate.The cover is marked US and has "Lift Dot" fasteners. The canteen is marked L F & C and dated 1918 and retains its original aluminum cap and retaining chain. The canteen has a number of dents but is sound. The leather strap is also sound but should probably be treated with a leather dressing and the brass clip could probably use cleaning, polishing. SH at cost. no reserve.
