    Description

This is a WW2 vintage military aircraft overtaking speedometer. This speedometer has the 0 in the center and counts from 0 to 50 miles on upper and lower side of the center. This was used for a group of bomber aircraft (bombardment group) The pilot wanted to keep in the center 0 to stay at the same speed as the group of aircraft.  If the speedometer was above 0 he was flying faster than the group, if the speedometer was below 0 he was flying slower than the group. This is in good condition, It has some spots under the glass and on meter face due to being in storage. This is unused.
