M1 Carbine Stock,Springfield

M1/M2 Carbine Stock.Springfield m2.SA marked left side of barrel channel..its a old used milsurp set...its been there and back.. expect battle scars and signs of use...not a new stock but a solid old original milsurp set...nice looking wood..has the metal and a 4 rivet guard that looks great on this stock..really close pretty much dead on color and condition match..no maker markings on guard..little half inch split on bottom very front on left side where most of these old guards split...its been glued to seal it...theres a picture of that spot but its small and you cant really see it..solid guard still.very small....the metal is in good shape..buttplate might be a ww2 npm piece...little rusty but still a good original buttplate...good pic of it...recoilplate is probably unmarked id say..looks like a later cast plate...bandspring is also there....stock is solid..i see no splits or fixes..has been cleaned and fresh oil and wax applied...wax is a tough old school field mix that has dull finish to it..not really shiny..really nice stock if your looking for the been there look...bottom of grip has a ghost of a storage rack #...might of been a 8 or 9..its hardly there...tough to tell..i tried to get it in pics but so light i couldnt really get it....need more pics of any spot you want to see?
