The TR-9 Super-Overtone Triangle is something of a legend in the symphonic world. It first appeared on the scene in 1980 as a triangle designed specifically to deliver a wide range of spectral timbres — ideal attributes for symphonic performances relying on subtle sonic colorings in the context of such a massive array of instruments.
