    Description

    Remarkable Filipino sword with blade marked 'STEEL' and with a partially obscured word above that which appears to be "WARRANTED".  This suggests that the blade or the metal from which it was formed originated in perhaps USA or UK, despite the Filipino shape of the blade.  Forged blade is tight to handle with motion to the knucklebow.  Various wear and damage concomitant with great age and hard use as seen.  Magnificent old sword enjoyable for its design, and remarkable for its material.
