    The "Achilles" was an American pilot cutter built in 1812. This Speedy sloop was used as a mail vessel, carrying packages about the East Coast. She was originally built in New York in 1815.
    This is a double plank on Bulkhead kit. It includes rigging cords and silk flags, along with numerous fittings made from etched brass, hardwoods, and other metals. While this kit comes with detailed instructions, the "Achilles" is best for intermediate to advanced builders!
